Wood Flooring Supply & Installation London

We help you choose the floor, check what's underneath it, and fit it so it still looks right in twenty years.

Engineered and solid wood floors supplied and fitted properly, from the subfloor up.

Most floor problems people call us about — gaps, squeaks, cupping, boards lifting near a radiator — started on installation day. So we begin with the room rather than the product: what the subfloor is, how dry it is, whether there's underfloor heating, where the doors and thresholds sit, and how the light falls across it.

From there we'll recommend the right construction (engineered or solid), the right fitting method (fully bonded, floating or secret-nailed), and the layout. Planks, herringbone, chevron and Versailles panels are all fitted by us, including borders, feature strips and stair nosings.

Supply-only is available if you have your own fitter, and we're happy to talk them through the specification.

Questions

Asked before, answered honestly.

How long does a wood floor installation take?
A typical room of plank flooring can be fitted in a day or two once the subfloor is ready. Herringbone and chevron take longer because every block is laid individually, and any levelling compound needs drying time first. We give you a realistic schedule with the quote.
Should I glue or float my wood floor?
Gluing (fully bonding) gives a more solid feel, less noise and is usually best with underfloor heating and patterns like herringbone. Floating can suit some flats and quick refurbishments. It depends on your subfloor and building rules, so we recommend the method after the survey.
Do you remove the old flooring?
Yes. We can lift and dispose of carpet, laminate, vinyl or old timber and prepare the subfloor as part of the job.
